About Vail
In 1962, Vail emerged from a vision to unite people with a passion for the outdoors. Today, Vail is one of North America's top ski resort destinations with services and skiing second to none, surrounded by natural beauty and alpine experiences. Vail is set to become even more refined, rebuilding the resort’s infrastructure to better serve the crowds of eager visitors and for those who choose Vail as a place to call home.

Vail’s Billion Dollar Renewal includes $1 billion in enhancements throughout the Vail area, including Golden Peak, Vail Village, LionsHead Village and East & West Vail. Plans call for renovation of existing buildings, as well as exciting new developments, such as the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Vail®, Gore Creek Place and The Arrabelle at Vail Square. These projects will increase the number of hotels, residences, shops and restaurants, as well as expand ski club services.

As part of “Vail’s Billion Dollar Renewal,” Vail Resorts is investing more than $500 million in both Vail Village and LionsHead. Already, Vail Resorts Development Company has completed the new LionsHead skier bridge, as well as Founders Garage and Parker's Green. In addition, construction of Gore Creek Place and The Arrabelle at Vail Square are underway. Vail Resorts is also proposing a new highspeed, four-passenger chairlift in the west LionsHead vicinity, providing Vail mountain residents and guests convenient access to world-class skiing.
